Hard Pill To Swallow is a track about coming to terms with what transpired over the last few years; my father's death, divorce, failed business venture, friendships ending, dealing with childhood trauma, creative self doubt, etc., in the hope that picking up the mic once more would help with dealing with those things. More than anything, creating this track over a period of time and listening to it has been therapeutic to me and I hope it can do the same for you as the listener, especially if you can relate, which I'm sure many will. These things that I struggled with are universal to many out there...
